The sixth and final season of Power is two episodes in as it premiered on Starz on August 25 and viewers are really into it. Despite being the last season, 50 had previously said that spinoffs would be on the way. One issue that many have with this final season though is the intro theme song for this season. Before, ”Big Rich Town” was sung by Joe for the first five seasons but now Trey Songz is on it.
50 Cent has heard the criticism plenty of times on social media and took to Instagram this afternoon to say that this week, the old theme song by Joe will make its return. It’ll be interesting to see what Trey has to say in response to being taken off. A question that needs to be answered now is if the old theme song will be permanent again. It held the show down for five seasons prior to Trey coming in.
