#Titans rookie AJ Brown with a 55-yard TD from Marcus Mariota.

Mariota then upped the ante, throwing a beauty of a rainbow to AJ Brown again for another touchdown. This throw is exactly what we haven’t seen the 1st two weeks from Mariota, throwing it up and just giving your big WR a chance to make a play.

Mariota then came back with another touchdown, this time to Corey Davis. This throw is another example of what Mariota hasn’t done well the 1st two weeks.
Throwing with anticipation.
As you can see, Mariota threw the ball before Davis was out of his break and before Davis could even get his head turned around.

Today was a performance that Mariota himself and the Titans needed. He checked off all the boxes of his weaknesses over the last 2 weeks, and gives this offense some much needed confidence heading into next week.
While this was against a Falcons defense that gives up a lot of big plays, it was nice to see Mariota play well.
We’ll see if he can keep it up next week against the Bills, who held the Patriots to only 16 points today.
3. AJ Brown and Corey Davis Were The Stars On Offense
This Titans WR core hasn’t had the production you maybe expected heading into week 4.
Evidenced by this graphic, the WRs needed a lot more success going forward if this team wants to get where they want to go.
This is inexcusable production for a WR core that’s much improved. pic.twitter.com/FlE84iHK8i

But boy did they turn up the heat today.
Specifically AJ Brown and Corey Davis.
Both had magnificent performances today. Both showed why they’re the clear cut WR1 and WR2 on this football team. It’s not out of the ordinary to have 1 WR have a great day and carry the offense. But when your 2 best WRs have great games, plus much better QB play, your offense is going to thrive.
Just like they did today.
Plus when you play well, you get to show off in front of your idol.

The Titans head into next week with some swagger to their name. But their opponent will be coming off a loss and will be looking for a bounceback win.
The Bills lost to the Patriots today 16-10 and will carry a very good defense into Nissan Stadium next week.
Josh Allen suffered a nasty looking concussion during the game, so we’ll monitor his status throughout the week.
