ESPN released their top 100 players for the 2019-20 season and the debates have been crazy. People aren’t satisfied with Klay Thompson being ranked at No. 49 and with Zion Williamson being at No. 42 since he hasn’t even played an NBA game yet.
Damian Lillard is rightfully ranked No. 9 since he’s been a beast lately. He weighs in on the Thompson and Williamson rankings and thinks they’re BS. He called Thompson being at 49 “wild.” It seems that he wasn’t a fan of Williamson being so high ta 42 either.
Yes, Thompson will be out most of the year due to an ACL tear but you can’t discredit him as a play with that No. 49 ranking. Williamson is definitely too high. Let him play a game first before saying he’s a top 42 player.
