The dynamic duo between Paul George and Kawhi Leonard will have to wait for just a bit.
For what will be the most anticipated season in Los Angeles Clippers history, the team will be without one of two main stars until at least November.
Paul George, as reported by ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, will be out all of October as he recovers from two offseason shoulder surgeries.
The Clippers open up their season on October 22nd against the Los Angeles Lakers.
George, 29, is recovering from right rotator cuff surgery to repair a partially torn tendon in his right shoulder in May, and a minor surgery to repair a partial tear of his left labrum in June.
For now, the Battle of LA will have to commence without the services of Paul George by the side of Kawhi Leonard.
