Last week, the Giants suffered a tough 35-17 loss in Dallas to kick off the season. 11-year-old Giants fan Kamil Bautista tried to get Cowboys Defensive End DeMarcus Lawrence’s autograph after the game but was turned down due to being a fan of the other team. This was all after he and his family drove nine hours to go to the game.
TMZ Sports spoke with Kamil’s father Jorge and wasn’t feeling what Lawrence did at all. He wants Jerry Jones to speak to him about the situation but now, it looks like things are about to get better. Giants RB Saquon Barkley was made aware of the situation and wants to meet Kamil.
Sources close to TMZ say that Barkley is inviting Kamil and his family to the Giants’ game against the Jets on November 10. Barkley will fly them out and give them special treatment when they get to MetLife Stadium. Big salute to Barkley on showing how an athlete should show love to the kids, no matter who they’re a fan of.
Lawrence was definitely wrong in this situation. He should’ve at least gave Kamil a high five and did some friendly trash talk. Flip the pages to see Lawrence walking away from him and his dad speaking on the situation.
