A meth addict in Melbourne, Australia had a very interesting way to raid someone’s home that they knew that drugs in it. According to The Age, 36-year-old Daniel Thomas dressed as a police officer, knocked on the door, and said “This is a police raid. Get on the floor face down. Where are your drugs?” This all went down on July 25, 2016 but on September 3, 2019, he was sentenced to 11 and a half years in prison.
Two men were in the home and supposedly gave all the drugs they had to Thomas. Thomas didn’t think that was the case and beat one of the men with a hammer until they were knocked out. Thomas and another accomplice said “We’ve killed your mate. Now tell us where the drugs are.”
The other man was then hit with the hammer as well. His butt was soon spread in order to be searched for more drugs. The men left but when police came to check out the home, they thought the men assaulted were killed but one survived. Thomas had plead guilty to aggravated burglary and other charges. He has to serve at least nine years before any possibility of parole.
When police had finally found Thomas, he was very uncooperative with police. He resisted arrest and threatened them by saying “You come near me you f****** dog c*** and I’ll stab you in the f****** head and kill you.” As far as Thomas’ drug addiction, he would inject couple of grams of meth a day and use heroin and cannabis. Justice Paul Coghlan sentenced Thomas and said the motive for the robbery was for something related to his girlfriend.
