Le’Veon Bell Has a Message For HC Adam Gase and Fantasy Owners About His Workload After Sitting Out Last Season (Video)

Le’Veon Bell hasn’t played in an NFL game in 20 months.

By the time the New York Jets RB steps on the field Sunday at MetLife Stadium at home against the Buffalo Bills, it will have been exactly 601 days since Bell last saw the football field.

Bell will make his first start for the Jets Sunday and he has a message for his head coach Adam Gase ahead of his Jets debut,

“Don’t hold back!”

For Gase and fantasy football owners that is music to their collective ears.

Bell speaking to reporters on Wednesday said further,

“I can carry 50 [times] if you ask me. When I say, ‘Don’t hold back,’ I mean literally that. I don’t want to go out there and try to sprinkle me in or anything like that. I’m ready to play football.”

The last time Bell faced the Bills he went off for 236 rushing yards and 3 TD’s back in Dec. 2016.

Bell also tweeted fantasy owners to let them know that if they picked him, he plans to deliver for them this season.

It should be a massive year for Bell who signed with the Jets this off season a 4-yr, $52.5 million contract with $27 million guaranteed.
