Jalen Ramsey asked for a trade from the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier this week after after a verbal altercation with Head Coach Doug Marrone on the sideline of Jacksonville’s 13-12 loss in Houston. Ramsey has said that he wants to play tonight vs the Titans and that will happen. According to Stephen A. Smith, Ramsey has an issue with team Executive Vice President Tom Coughlin and not Marrone.
According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, six teams are interested in the All-Pro CB. Among them that have been making inquiries are the Chiefs, Ravens, Vikings, Raiders, Eagles, and Seahawks. Ramsey ending up in Kansas City would likely make them the favorites in the AFC to reach the Super Bowl over the Patriots.
Anderson also notes that Ramsey likely won’t be a Jaguar come next Sunday. It’ll be interesting to see if Ramsey demands to be traded to a contender. He might not get his wish though as Jacksonville could very well ship him to a rebuilding team like Oakland.
