James Harden and Russell Westbrook are reunited again after a huge trade this offseason that sent Chris Paul to Oklahoma City from Houston in exchange for Westrbook. Westbrook and Harden played together with the Thunder from 2009-2012. They reached the 2012 NBA Finals but fell short to the Heat in five games.
The two now have a legit shot at winning the NBA title together as the Rockets are still very much contenders and with the Warriors somewhat slowing down after losing Kevin Durant in free agency and won’t play in 2019 due to his Achillies injury and Klay Thompson suffering an ACL injury. The balance of power in the NBA is now restored though after Kawhi Leonard left the Raptors to go to the hometown Clippers.
Harden and Westbrook were seen in Las Vegas last night enjoying themselves before NBA training camp starts as Drake was performing at XS Nightclub at the Encore. The two stars were dancing to Drake and Travis Scott’s hit record “Sicko Mode.” Harden and Westbrook have been good friends since their OKC days and it showed last night in Sin City.
