Redskins TE Jordan Reed suffered his 7th documented concussion in the teams 3rd preseason game vs the Falcons in August.
He’s already been ruled out for Monday Nights game vs the Bears.
Now, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Reeds career could he in jeopardy due to the accumulated concussions.
“There are those within the Redskins organization and around the league that are concerned Reed will not be able to play again, according to sources. Reed will continue to undergo testing, but the player, the team and doctors know what he is up against.”
He’s suffered so many so it’s no surprise that he might not be able to play again.
Reed does want to continue to play, but when your body won’t let you anymore, there’s nothing you can do.
