This month, City Girls member JT was finally released from prison after serving a year and a half for credit card fraud. She has since been put in a halfway house until her official March 2020 release. She recently released her “First Day Out” freestyle and a new album by the group is on the way, according to Quality Control Music CEO, Pee.
JT recently went on Instagram Live with former Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta star, Tommie, Lee, and revealed that she was dating fellow QC label mate, Lil Yachty. She went on to claim that he cheated on her and went as far as bringing another woman to his grandma’s funeral. The two definitely flew under the radar with this relationship during her incarceration.
“Man Yachty is a manipulator and a liar that’s why he stay in the trick zone, because he be lying like he really held me down but he had a whole b*tch at his grandma’s funeral,” said JT.
Yachty also played a huge role in the City Girls success of their hit record “Act Up,” which appeared on their debut album “Girl Code” last November. He ghostwrote that song and appeared in the music video for it as he was telling fellow group member, Yung Miami, what to say.
