Errol Spence is lucky to be alive, but he will have to deal with this legal matter and hopefully, he has learned a lesson about drinking and driving.
Many people don’t get a second chance.
Here are the details.
Boxer Errol Spence Jr. faces a DWI charge in connection with a single-car wreck last week that sent a Ferrari tumbling down a street near downtown Dallas and seriously injured the welterweight champion.
Dallas police said Wednesday that Spence, 29, was charged with driving while intoxicated.
Spence was thrown from the Ferrari when he lost control of the vehicle at a high speed around 2:45 a.m. Thursday in the 500 block of South Riverfront Boulevard. The car went over the median into the oncoming lanes and flipped a number of times, according to police.
He was released from the hospital on Wednesday and in a deleted IG story post said.
