Odell Beckham Jr. is only 5 games in with the Cleveland Browns, but his production so far has been down compared to recent years.
Beckham only has 23 catches for 335 yards this season, and only 1 single touchdown.
These numbers aren’t the standard that has built Beckham’s reputation as arguably the best WR in the NFL. To make matters worse, the Browns have been very up and down to start the season.
They’ve played only 1 “complete” game so far this year, and have seen their QB Baker Mayfield be beaten and battered behind a porous Browns OL.
Beckham’s presence alone has helped open up more targets for Jarvis Landry and others in the offense. But without Beckham contributing, it’ll be hard for the Browns to live up to their massive expectations.
Who knows if this team can get it going consistently on offense, but if they do, Beckham figures to be a big part of the turnaround.
