Michael Jordan is known as the best basketball player of all time. When he speaks on basketball, it’s best to listen.
So I thought.
A few years ago MJ was asked if he could pick four guys to be on his team for a pickup game, who would he pick and he said Hakeem Olajuwon, Magic Johnson, James Worthy, and Scottie Pippen. All hall of famers.
While being recently interviewed after opening two new hospitals that were made possible because of his donation, NBC’s Craig Melvin asked MJ if he would keep the same four and he said yes. Melvin then asked if Steph Curry should be offended when he saw the clip and MJ replied
“I hope not. He’s still a great player. Not a Hall of Famer yet though,”
He could have meant that one of two ways. Either he really doesn’t think Steph has done enough to be a hall of famer yet or he meant it literal because Steph really isn’t a hall of famer yet.
Either way, he was drinking his new tequila so he might have been a little tipsy while saying it.
