What an unexpected season it’s been for the Browns. They stand at 2-5 following a 27-13 loss to the Patriots on the Brown. Everyone thought they’d have a high-powered offense after acquiring Odell Beckham Jr to play alongside Jarvis Landry but QB Baker Mayfield has just been flat out struggling.
Mayfield went 20/31 for 194 yards and one TD in New England. He was asked about the game today by a reporter and sounded very agitated when it came to being asked about Cleveland’s clock management during the game. This was regarding them letting the clock run following a penalty.
Mayfield was then asked if he was happy about their possession when they didn’t score any points and he replied “no, that’s the dumbest thing you can ask.” From that point, he stormed off. At some point, Mayfield needs to back up his arrogance and stop being mad at the wrong people.
Mayfield is now taking to Twitter to address the incident by saying his sense of urgency is high and that he wants to Win. Flip the page to check out the interaction between him and the reporter, his response, and Twitter reactions.
