The Arizona Cardinals have reached an agreement with the Miami Dolphins, in which the Dolphins will send Kenyan Drake for a conditional 2020 draft pick.
News broke yesterday from ESPN’s Adam Schefter that Kenyan Drake did not travel with the team on their trip to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers in the primetime Monday Night Football matchup.
With the Cardinals having injuries to both their running backs, they could certainly use Drake to add more depth to their core.
Makes you wonder the possibility that David Johnson may be out longer than expected.
Backup Chase Edmonds suffered a hamstring injury in yesterday’s loss at New Orleans.
David Johnson has been recouping from a ankle injury that has had him sidelined the last two weeks.
Expect Kenyan Drake to be inserted quickly in the Cardinals lineup; Especially during this short week of playing a Thursday night game against the currently undefeated and number 1 ranked pass defense 49ers.
So far this season the Dolphins are 0-6; traded Minkah Fitzpatrick to the Steelers; traded Laremy Tunsil and Kenny Stills to the Texans.
Finally, with the trade of Kenyan Drake its quite apparent the Dolphins are doing whatever it takes to grab Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa in the upcoming draft.
