Boxing legend and Hall of famer Oscar De La Hoya is in the midst of a lawsuit of an alleged sexual assault and battery charge from a woman who claims these attacks occurred back in 2017.
The woman according to TMZ, who wants to protect her identity is being identified as Jane Doe; says her and Oscar originally met back in 2016.
The suit states that the two have a history of consensual sex, but things got really weird during a visit to Oscar’s place in 2017.
On the documents the victim is claiming during this visit, Oscar wanted to showcase his new home, but once she arrived, she says Oscar had bottles of alcohol, and a bag of cocaine; so apparently he had other ideas besides just showcasing the home.
After getting drunk, Oscar is claimed to have wanted to engage in sex and asked per her claims “unusual request” which involved Oscar shoving his fist inside her.
She states she denied his request and after being denied Oscar forcibly held her down against her will and forced his fist inside her vagina.
According to TMZ, the lawsuits claims,
“repeatedly said no and demanded that De La Hoya stop. However, De La Hoya overpowered her and suddenly and forcefully pushed his hand and fist into Plaintiff’s vagina.”
Doe claims she screamed in pain and yelled at Oscar — but he just laughed and told her to take a shot of alcohol. The woman claims she refused the booze and angrily left the house.
After the incident, Doe claims she “felt extreme swelling and pain for which she was prescribed medication at urgent care.
“She also “sought treatment with a Doctor of Psychology and Certified Sex Therapist who diagnosed Plaintiff with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder arising from the sexual battery by De La Hoya.”
It is notable the documents never reveal if she filed a police report with authorities.
The victim has admitted to suffering from stress, humiliation, depression, anxiety, and symptoms associated with PTSD. Per her attorney, Greg Kirakosian, she’s demanding damages from the alleged attack, sexual battery, gender violence, negligence, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
