Marcus Mariota will replace a helmet with a hat and a headset this upcoming Sunday.
After Mariota’s poor showing Sunday against Denver, in which he got benched, Ryan Tannehill has now assumed the starting QB role for the Tennessee Titans.
Mariota was still going through a crucial 5th year, in which he needed to perform, or he was going to be shown the door.
Now with Tannehill officially starting, even if Mariota somehow gets back on the field this season, this most likely marks the end of Marcus Mariota’s time in Tennessee.
