Wife Receiver Brandon Marshall spent 13 seasons in the NFL which included six Pro Bowl appearances and being an All-Pro. He’s now making the transition into the next chapter of his life and it looks like that’s boxing.
Today, Marshall took to his Instagram account to announce that he is training and is looking to have his first professional fight in May of 2020. He says he going to do the unthinkable and will be the heavyweight champion of the world. He even went on to call out some of the best in that weight class such as Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, and Luis Ortiz.
“I promise you. Joshua, Wilder, Ortiz, Fury. All you boys, I can get it. I’m telling you. You’re not that tough, not that strong. Where I come from, and what I’ve been through in my life, I’m built for this. I promise you that. I’ll see you next May.”
It’s unclear what motivated Marshall to venture off into boxing but we’ll definitely see what he’s got next spring. Flip the page to check out him calling out the best in the game while training.
