Hooters is definitely one of the best restaurants in the country when it comes to appealing to men but it is running into a huge problem when it comes to one man. According to TMZ, Marcos Calcano is a blind man who is suing the restaurant chain for not having gift cards in Braille.
Legal documents filed by Calcano state that these Braille gift cards would make it much easier for blind people and it would “restore the dignity to blind persons.” Hooters originally told him that they don’t sell any Braille gift cards and he thinks they never will. He did some research and found out that the only chain that he knows of that sells the gift cards is Starbucks.
Calcano would still buy one from Hooters if they end up getting these Braille gift cards. In addition to Hooters, he is also suing Domino’s Pizza for not having any. As far as what he wants from Hooters in court, he’s seeking unspecific damages and compensation.
