4. Philip Rivers Has Been A Titans Killer For Years
A lot of football enthusiasts talk about Andrew Luck being a thorn in the Titans’ side. I don’t blame them for that, an 11-0 record against a single opponent isn’t something you see every day.
But if you want to identify someone who’s made a profession of making the Titans their punching dummy longer than Luck, look no further than Chargers QB Phillip Rivers.
Rivers is 7-1 against the Titans.
He’s thrown for 2,081 yards, 15 TDs, and just 3 INTs.
It’s safe to say Rivers has made the Titans his virtual lap dog.
He’ll be going up against a very stout Titans defense however, which hasn’t allowed a single opponent to hit 20 points so far.
5. Joey Bosa Is Downright Scary
Joey Bosa is one of the more premier EDGE rushers the NFL has to offer.
He can beat you with his usual speed, but his power when rushing the passer is something special as well. Bosa will be matched up against Jack Conklin a good bit on Sunday, which could spell trouble for Ryan Tannehill and this Titans offense.
Conklin has issues against speed rushers, specifically with some slow feet, which leads him to become unbalanced when rushers start to get around the edge.
Look for Bosa to take advantage of this problem in Conklin’s pass protection, as he is a player that can wreck a game all by himself.
