It’s crazy to think that over a decade and a half ago LeBron James was at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School dunking and playing nationally televised games on ESPN.
Now James’s son, LeBron James, Jr. (Bronny) will be doing the same this season.
As reported by Los Angeles Times’ Eric Sondheimer, Sierra Canyon HS will be featured on ESPN platforms 15 times this season including ESPN2 and ESPNU.
James along with Dwyane Wade’s son Zaire Wade, and the rest of the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers team will make their ESPN3 debut on Nov. 21st in San Diego.
The ‘worldwide leader’ is looking to potentially capitalize of the ratings boom the younger James and Wade may generate.
Especially if their famous fathers are in attendance for any of their games that happened to be broadcasted.
It’s unprecedented exposure for the young, but talented offspring of James and Wade, but with famous last names and games like theirs, television cameras are sure to follow.
