Details on if Jerry Sandusky’s 30-60-Year Sentence for Child Sexual Abuse Was Upheld After Mandatory Minimum Prison Sentencing Weren’t Applied Correctly (Video)

Many remember Jerry Sandusky a being a defensive coach at Penn State from 1969-1999. An investigation was launched and in 2012, he was sentenced to 30-60 years in prison on 45 counts of child sexual abuse. He used his youth charity, The Second Mild, to sexually assault 10 boys. Some of these incidents went down on campus.

The 75-year-old was in a Pennsylvania court yesterday seeking a shorter sentence. It seemed that he was confident in that happening as he was weirdly smiling. The situation for a lighter sentence happened due to a state of court appeals in February ruling that the mandatory minimum prison sentencing were incorrectly applied.

The ruling was upheld by a judge and his optimistic mood quickly ended. After leaving the courthouse, he told reporters that he had no response. He deserves to spend of his life in prison for sure.
