Late in the first half against the Denver Nuggets the Celtics star point guard Kemba Walker had to be taken off the court in a stretcher following a collision with teammate Semi Ojeleye near the free throw line.
The injury took place as the Boston Celtics secured a rebound and transitioned into offense, upon impact Kemba Walker immediately went to the floor where he remained until being taken off by stretcher.
He’s been diagnosed with a concussion and will go into normal protocol set in place for head injuries.
update: Kemba Walker is suffering from Concussion-like symptoms and has been transported to an area hospital.
