Alexi McCammond is accusing Charles Barkley of telling a really bad joke while at a campaign event on Tuesday night. The Axios reporter claims Sir Charles threatened to theoretically hit her if in fact he did hit women, which according to Barkley he does not.
Charles Barkley allegedly told Alexi McCammond after she expressed disdain for Barkley’s comment that she simply “couldn’t take a joke” which as we can see now for Alexi this was no laughing matter.
The exchange prior to Charles Barkley’s alleged threat came after Alexi McCammond pointed out that Barkley had previously expressed his love for Governor Deval Patrick then later professed his love for Pete Buttiegieg. It was after Alexi McCammond pointed out that Charles Barkley had already proclaimed his love for one man and suddenly jumped to another that caused Barkley to allegedly threaten physical violence against McCammond.
Alexi McCammond has since taken to twitter to call out the Inside The NBA host for threatening her in a room full of people, Charles Barkley has yet to comment or release any official statements.
