The Tennessee Titans are looking for a bounce back win Sunday, as they welcome Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs to town.
Leading up to this game, I had a strong feeling on an impending blowout, for the Chiefs to be clear.
The Chiefs are getting their star QB this week, the Titans’ defense will be without Malcom Butler and Jurrell Casey and Jayon Brown, and this offense just doesn’t inspire any sort of confidence.
It’ll be a tough game for the two tone blue, but football is magical, so anything can happen.
Right?
1. Patrick Mahomes Is Back & Ready to Roll
If you somehow haven’t heard already, star Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes will be making his return to the lineup this weekend.
Obviously that’s bad news for a Titans defense that’ll be missing 3 starters.
But it’s good news for me as we all get to watch Mahomes throw 60 yard bombs after doing a backflip. Of course that’s an exaggeration, but come on, Mahomes is incredible.
Back to the point though, this will be the toughest offense the Titans have faced in quite some time. Having to do so without 3 very important starters only spells trouble and a crap ton of it.
I would say keep an eye on this defense, and you should, because I have a good feeling they’ll be on the field a lot.
Which brings me to my next point.
2. If This Titans Offense Can’t Have Success Against The Chiefs, Just Give Up Hope
Look man, I mean it’s so simple.
This Chiefs defense isn’t good, so go out there and attack their weakness.
If you can’t do that, then what’s the point of running the offense out there?
To get booed?
To bore us all and make us wish we had some sort of entertainment in our lives?
So so, simple.
