The scuffle on Thursday Night Football between Mason Rudolph and Myles Garrett has caused many debates among fans and media. Some feel Myles Garrett is solely responsible for the melee, while others believe certain individuals involved may be getting too much of a pass for their role in the brawl.
The NFL weighed in on the matter on Friday handing down a hefty suspension to Myles Garrett who likely wont play again this season or playoffs, as well as Steelers lineman Maurkice Pouncey who will miss two games and Larry Ogunjobi for one game.
Although many were shocked to see Mason Rudolph not among the list of players set to be punished for participating it was Mason’s comments immediately after the game that left one man in particular with a sour taste in his mouth. When asked about the incident at the podium Mason Rudolph in a nutshell called Myles Garrett a coward for swinging the quarterback’s own helmet at his head while failing to highlight his own role in what took place earlier Thursday night. Samuel L. Jackson would not let Mason Rudolph get away with his underhanded slight against Myles Garrett, he took to his personal Twitter account to air out the Steelers fill-in quarterback.
