December 7, 2019: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua
This is a battle that speaks for itself. One of the biggest upsets in boxing history. On June 1, 2019, Anthony Joshua walked into the ring the undefeated WBA, WBO and IBF champion. Andy Ruiz, who was a fill in for Jarrell Miller (who failed three drug tests) was the 11-1 underdog. Joshua knocked Ruiz down in the 3rd round, but Ruiz got up and proceeded to put on a performance that left underdogs all over the world with their chests out. Ruiz beat Anthony Joshua by 7th round TKO making him the first ever Mexican heavyweight champion. Ruiz has the opportunity to confirm that he is the better man when the two face each other for a rematch in Saudi Arabia.
December 7, 2019: Jermall Charlo vs Dennis Hogan
Jermall Charlo is looking to get his 30th win in his 30th fight but standing in his way is Dennis Hogan (28-2-1). Hogan is coming off a controversial majority decision loss to WBO junior middleweight champion Jamie Mungia in April of this year. Hogan will be moving up to middleweight to face Charlo for his WBC middleweight title.
December 13, 2019: Vergil Ortiz Jr. vs Brad Solomon
Simply put, Vergil Ortiz Jr. is the future of boxing. Vergil Ortiz has a perfect record of 14-0, with 14 knockouts. But he is more than just power, he is the complete package. And at age 21, he still has a lot of room for growth. Ortiz will make his welterweight debut versus Brad Solomon, who is 28-1. Solomon has wins versus Adrian Granados and Ray Robinson and represents another step up in opposition for Ortiz.
