Luka Doncic has been a flat out beast on the court since he played in his first NBA game with the Mavericks in this rookie season last year. He’s currently off the court with an ankle injury but is expected to return soon as he’s averaging 29 points, nine rebounds and close to nine assists per game.
Dallas’ new star doesn’t have a sneaker endorsement deal yet but it looks like that is about to change very soon. According to Shams Charania and Tim Cato of The Athletic, he’s close to signing a multi-year deal with Jordan Brand. MJ still has the hottest athletic sneakers in the world and it only makes sense that he’d want to bring on board an already established superstar in Doncic.
As far as Doncic’s Mavs, they’ve surprised a lot of people this season as they currently stand at 19-9 and fourth in the Western Conference. Kristaps Porzingis has been a solid partner in crime with Doncic but if they’re able to take down contenders out West such as the Clippers, Lakers or Rockets in the playoffs is the big question.
