Trent Williams held out with the Redskins earlier this season but has since returned to the team but Washington just isn’t getting it done. They stand at 3-10 and will miss the playoffs yet again.
Williams looks like there may be some legal issues he will have to deal with as well. According to TMZ Sports, his pit bull that he owns at his home in Missouri City, TX killed a neighbor’s 3-year-old black Labrador. The dog’s name is Sandy and was supposedly dragged by nine pit bulls in total.
Williams says the situation is “dogs doing what dogs do” because Sandy was the one who supposedly got into his yard and attacked his dogs. Sandy’s owner says that she was friendly though and that Williams is running a pit bull kennel dog fighting ring. One member of William’s team told TMZ that this was all definitely due to self-defense because Sandy was supposedly attacking Williams’ daughter’s Basenji dog, which is much smaller. The pit bull only came over to help.
Williams also made sure to point out that his pit bulls aren’t just going around killing other dogs for no reason and that this isn’t a dog fighting ring. As far as the Basenji, it has been hospitalized with severe injuries. Flip the pages for Williams’ home and photos of the dog who was attacked by his pit bull.
