The Patriots are cheating again.
Well, that’s what it looks like at least. The main question now is whether or not it was intentional.
If you ask the Patriots brass, they’re vehemently denying any wrongdoing, but what else would they say? There’s no way they would admit it.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is all over it.
“Obviously it’s under review,” Goodell said to the media while in Dallas … “We’re gonna be thorough and we’re gonna get all the facts and we’ll go from there.”
When asked if the Patriots past would be a factor, Goodell had this to say.
“Of course that’s a factor. The key things are the new information that we have. That [old] information we obviously already have. But, I think the issue is what information do we have from this incident?”
Goodell also addressed Colin Kaepernick’s workout debacle.
“It was about opportunity, a credible opportunity. He chose not to take it, and I understand that.”
Unfortunately, it appears Kaepernick will never play in the NFL again.
