Steve Harvey found himself in the middle of another live on-air mistake eerily similar to his viral moment in 2015 when he announced the wrong winner for the contest.
This time, someone else may be to blame for what seemingly looks like another mistake made by Steve Harvey misidentifying winners. While announcing the winner for this year’s costume contest Steve Harvey called out the Philippines as the victor. The crowd briefly cheered before the contestant who was actually representing Malaysia spoke up and corrected Steve Harvey who was clearly upset with whomever in charge of the teleprompter.
He was quoted as saying “Y’all gonna quit doing this to me” obviously referencing when he mistakenly announced Miss Columbia as the winner of Miss Universe when in reality the Philippines had actually won.
