The Minneapolis Miracle is one of the most iconic and memorable plays in recent NFL history. Case Keenum’s desperate pass to Stefon Diggs and Diggs scamper to the endzone will go down in NFL lore. Well, maybe not in the mind of Booger McFarland.
The ESPN, Monday Night Football announcer, seemed to be confused during the Seahawks-Vikings broadcast that the Minneapolis Miracle was actually a positive play for Minnesota and not a negative one.
McFarland said that the Minneapolis Miracle actually went “against the Vikings,” and his statement went uncorrected during the broadcast before McFarland cleared up his mistake on Twitter after the game.
Twitter had a field day roasting McFarland, who has gotten criticism in the past for his announcing ability.
