Hip-Hop fans received a very special treat on Christmas as TIDAL/Rap Radar’s Elliot Wilson and Brian “B.Dot” Miller spoke with Drake. The most notable topic discussed was his 2018 beef with Pusha T.
Things reached a climax in the beef on Pusha’s “The Story of Adidon” diss track where he said Drake is hiding a child from the world that he had with pornstar Sophie Brussaux. After this track, we really didn’t hear much from Drake. This was also after Pusha mentioned the multiple sclerosis that Drake’s producer, 40 had. On Rap Radar, Drake still isn’t feeling Pusha as he said he doesn’t believe what he raps about in regards to drugs.
B. Dot and Wilson brought up how Drake used to be a Clipse fan and listened to Pusha when he was younger. Drake’s excuse was that he was younger but knows the facts about Pusha now. This definitely feels like a lie but it is what it is. Drake is old enough to remember what Clipse rapped about.
Drake and Pusha were also set to appear on the same song on Rick Ross’ Port of Miami 2 album rhat was released in August but Ross felt that the two artists still weren’t on the same page. That is still apparently the case. In the end, it feels like Pusha really did win the beef considering Drake’s silence after the Story of Adidon track.
