It’s been a very, very tough two days for us sports fans after the shocking death of Kobe Bryant in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, CA. His 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others also died in the crash as all were going to a game that Gianna was set to play in at his Mamba Academy. Two of the girls on board were Gianna’s teammates. We have seen people around the world pay tribute to Kobe and Gianna such as LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Shaq, and more.
One notable name in sports who is now speaking on Kobe is New England Patriots Head Coach, Bill Belichick. Belichick is also a legend as he’s won six Super Bowls. He has released a statement regarding Kobe’s passing and it’s very nice. He discussed how Kobe spoke to his team two years ago. He also praised the Black Mamba’s passion, intensity, and mentality towards achieving his goals.
Belichick went on to applaud the impact that Kobe made in other’s lives whether it was on or off the court. It was a good message from legend to legend.
