LSU and Clemson have proved all year long why they’re the top two teams in the country. Now, they finally beat in the College Football Playoff Final on January 13. LSU QB Joe Burrow has been nothing short of amazing this season as he won the Heisman Trophy and threw for seven TD passes vs Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl.
Clemson is the reigning National Champs but they are getting some hostility from LSU fans. Clemson RB Travis Etienne’s mom has said on Twitter that their family is getting death threats from that fan base. Her tweet read “We from Louisiana. We are getting all kind of threats. Sad but true. God is in control. Nothing can penetrate the blood of Jesus..We are blessed.”
Etienne’s family is from Jennnings, LA which is an hour and a half from Baton Rouge. Football is never this serious. Threats towards players’ families are out of line and these LSU fans who are doing this should have their Twitter accounts suspended and investigated by police.
Etienne has been a beast for the Tigers this season he has 1,536 rushing yards on 192 carries for 18 touchdowns. He also has a whopping eight yards per carry. Flip the page for Eienne’s mom speaking on the death threats along with highlights of him at Clemson this season.
