Jamie Foxx has a new film out now which is “Just Mercy” costarring Michael B. Jordan where Foxx plays the role of Walter McMillian, a men sentenced to prison for the murder of an 18-year-old girl. Jordan plays Bryan Stevenson, the attorney for McMillian.
Foxx also has plans to get back involved in comedy again as he’s going on tour soon. He appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to discuss it and even added that he’d like to bring Eddie Murphy on board. He cited how fans haven’t heard from them i a while and now, it’s time to give them what they want.
“I would go on tour with Eddie, because I think it’s our time. You haven’t heard from him in a minute, and you haven’t heard from me and I got it.”
Foxx is taking things back to humble beginnings with his tour as he cited he wants it to be an intimate vibe. He says he’s going back to cities where he started such as the Faneuil Hall area of Boston. As far as exact dates, they have yet to be made official. When they are though, Foxx is sure to sell out these venues.
