In what’s suppose to be considered a peaceful and mourning week for the NBA, an unexpected fight broke out with less than a minute to go between the Knicks-Grizzlies Game.
If you look at the standings, this game was way more important for the Grizzlies to win since they’re fighting possibly 3 teams for a chance at the 8th seed. The Knicks stayed close to the Grizzlies and similar to what plenty have been saying for some seasons now, things fell apart during the second half, as well as their composure.
By the time of the press conference, coach Mike Miller wasn’t clear why the fight broke out. We’re waiting on who will be suspended as quite a few received a technical foul.

Despite the fight, the Knicks came within 12 at the closing of the 3rd quarter. The thing is, the team shows fight, grit, and a passion to win. They just need a couple of key players to close it out.
Something to take away from last night, which is beyond mesmerizing, is that Grizzlies rookie Ja Morant was at 42 in the +/- stat field. It truly blew my mind because he’s truly working hard in his first year.
The next Knicks game will be on Saturday February 1 against the Pacers.
