The two were married in 1999 but ended their relationship in 2006. The divorce was nasty and ended with Jean being awarded $15.3 million and $18,000 a month in child support.
The two share 15-year-old twin daughters, Sophia and Isabella, who live with their mother. The child support was decreased down to around $13,000 a month in 2009.
In September 2019, Jean took Michael back to court in New York. She accuses him of owing her over $500,000 in child support.
Jean said Michael agreed to cover half of their daughter’s horseback riding bills. She said the bill came out to $450,802 since 2017. However, she said that Michael has refused to pay the $225,000. Michael claims he never agreed to such a deal with Jean.
Whether or not a judge will sympathize with Michael Strahan or order him to pay his ex-wife Jean Muggli remains to be seen, but we do know the two will face each other in a courtroom with their respective lawyers each trying to score a victory for their client.
