After it Was Announced Ben Simmons Would Be Out With Back Injury His Sister Liv Had a Message For All His Haters (Tweets-IG)

Philly sports fans can be harsh and unforgiving, right now Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers is experiencing both of those elements as he deals with a back injury that will keep him off the court for an indefinite amount of time.

Famous for their “trust the process” style of building a team, the Philadelphia 76ers have yet to see any real returns on the years-long enduring of bad basketball on a nightly basis. Joel Embid and Ben Simmons were billed as the saviors of the organization, but thus far that reality has yet to come to fruition and many around the league believe it may be time for a change.

News of Ben Simmons being shut down for at least two weeks didn’t sit well with the Philly faithful, since the All-Star break, Simmons has only been able to muster 4 minutes of basketball before while dealing with his latest injury.

There’s no doubt that Philadelphia 76ers fans are growing impatient with their team and in particular Ben Simmons, but one person close to the young star isn’t letting Simmons’s name go undefended.

On Twitter, Ben Simmons big sister Liv Simmons went on a timeline rampage in defense of her little brother, she expressed how Ben’s situation is bigger than basketball before going at challengers in her mentions.

Although it was his sister doing the talking on social media, it’s quite possible some of Ben Simmons’s personal sentiments were sprinkled in his older siblings’ tirade.

The situation in Philadelphia seems dire as questions about coaching and calls for personnel changes loom around the organization as they embark on a quest to win an NBA Championship this season.

Flip through the pages to see Ben Simmons big sister go full rant mode on Twitter.
