We all remember the brawl between Myles Garrett and Mason Rudolph in the Thursday Night Football rivalry game between the Steelers and Browns. Cleveland ended up winning 21-7 but in the closing seconds when Rudolph was taken down by Garrett, things got ugly as he swung his helmet at Rudolph.
Rudolph was rumored to have said a racial slur towards Garrett which he has since denied. Rudolph was only fined $50,000 while Garrett was suspended indefinitely. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Garrett is expected to be reinstated.
Before the reinstatement is completed though, Garrett has to complete counseling. According to TMZ Sports, he met with Commissioner Roger Goodell today but Rapoport added that nothing will be finished today.
Rudolph should’ve been suspended as well. Maybe not indefinitely but at least multiple. He was clearly involved in the altercation as well.
