While the New Orleans Saints are still waiting on Drew Brees’ decision on whether to retire on return to the Saints for his 20th season in the NFL, their quarterback turned swiss army knife, is lobbying for a shot to take over if Brees retires.
Taysom Hill, who’s played a variety of positions for the Saints under Sean Payton, had publicly shared his desire to take over as the Saints’ franchise guy under center once Brees hangs up the cleats.
But Hill understands how the NFL works and knows that if the Saints don’t believe in his ability to be a franchise quarterback, then he’ll take his talents elsewhere.
