We have seen some funny stuff from NBA head coaches live during ball games, but what happened last night might have been the icing on the cake.
During the Kings 130-111 blowout loss in the midst of the 3rd quarter, Luke Walton turned to NBA Allstar Luka Doncic and yelled out,
“Hey Luka do me a favor, give him your autograph after the game”
Luka, who torched the Kings with a final stat line of 33 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists, looked tremendous in his NBA return, and is expected to play in the All-star game being held in Chicago this year after being named an NBA All Star from his peers and fans.
Walton who spoke with media after the game stated,
“I have all the respect in the world for Luka,” Walton said. “He got what he wanted tonight, wherever he wanted. I wasn’t saying anything to him. I don’t know if he thought I said something to him. He had a great game, he’s a great player and he led his team to victory. You’ve got to give him credit.
