Raiders quarterback Derek Carr might have encountered his final straw in the continuing media coverage of his “current team” the Las Vegas Raiders looking to sign HOF and Super Bowl soon to be free agent Tom Brady this off season.
Derek who recently posted a cryptic IG Post on his social media page shows him hugging all pro defensive end Khalil Mack who was traded from the Raiders in a shocking trade in which the coach at the time was quoted saying the team was in need of a game changing defensive player. A quote that seemed very misspoken at the time.
Carr, who arguably had his best season of recent memory threw for over 4000 yards, including 21 touchdowns to 8 interceptions. Not ground breaking stats but more of a game manager in which the Raiders as of recently look to turn the tide.
Speaking of turning the tide, ESPN and almost every sports media outlet have reported the Raiders who later this year look to move into their new Billion dollar playpen in Vegas. What better way to do that then to bring in a HOF, Super bowl winning QB in Tom Brady, who has spent his entire career in New England under the Coach “Belicheat” regime.
Brady who looks to become a free agent for the first time in his career has left the option open of testing the waters and see what his market value is.
Reportedly, the Raiders may over up to 30 million per year for Brady’s services, including a deal that could be for 2 years 60 million.
If this does indeed happen look for the Raiders to cut ties with Derek Carr.
Carr who has 3 years remaining on his current deal, has a 18.9 base salary for the 2020 season, a deal the Raiders don’t intend to continue to carry.
