The situation between Darius Slay and Matt Patricia is no different.
Yesterday, after months of back and forth between Slay and the Lions regarding a possible contract extension, Slay was shipped off to the Philadelphia Eagles for a pair of mid round draft picks.
Slay ended up getting his extension from Philly (3 years, $50M), but before Slay could 100% move on from the only professional team he’s suited up for, he had some explosive parting words for Lions head coach Matt Patricia.
Safe to say, those 2 didn’t see eye to eye.
