In November of 2002, a man was beaten to death as the result of an apparent robbery. That man turned out to be the grandfather of Oklahoma City guard, Chris Paul.
A key witness in the case went on the stand, pointing out the 5 black teens who were involved in the crime in her testimony.
Now, that same woman, Jessicah Black, is now recanting that same testimony that put 5 innocent black teens in prison for a crime they didn’t commit.
It’s a wild, but sad story, and another reminder of the unfair ways of the justice system.
