Most of America is still reeling from the sudden cancellations of both professional and amateur sporting events in response to the CVOID-19 crisis facing the world.
On Wednesday night, as NBA teams were set to play in multiple cities, the sudden cancellation of the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder game set off a chain of events that seem straight out of a 90’s doomsday flick.
Immediately following the league calling off the matchup between the Jazz and Thunder we learned that Jazz center Rudy Gobert had tested positive for CVOID- 19, commonly known as the Coronavirus.
Almost as suddenly as the news surfaced about Rudy Gobert, the NBA’s Board of Governor’s moved to cancel the NBA season indefinitely. The Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder were both placed under quarantine, after testing Utah players for CVOID-19 it was discovered that the teammate of Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell also tested positive for Coronavirus.
