In the wake of a dispute with her record label 1501 and Carl Crawford, Megan Thee Stallion made an appearance Thursday morning on ESPN’s First Take to discuss the Houston Rockets and her thoughts on the state of women’s rap.
Megan Thee Stallion on First Take came as surprise to many who had no idea she had any interest at all in sports, needless to say, the segment covered her musical influences, aspirations for her hometown’s Houston Rockets and the treatment of women in the music industry.
As for sports, Meg Thee Stallion expressed optimism for the Houston Rockets championship aspirations calling their quest for a ring “long overdue” she also threw her support behind Rockets star guard James Harden.
