In a new interview with WSJ, Kanye West spoke on how his political affiliation with Donald Trump has affected his personal life and standing amongst normal people, as well as his future in the fashion world.
Typical of a Kanye interview or rant, Apple was yet again used to describe what Kanye West feels is his role in the fashion world, as he continues to see success in his partnership with Adidas to produce his various Yeezy shoes.
Producing the “perfect hoodie” seems to be the next venture for Kanye West who believes he can produce a flawless item styled after something you might have seen if you lived in more biblical times.
Heres what Kanye West had to say pertaining to fashion:
“I believe Yeezy is the McDonalds and the Apple of apparel. In order to make the Apple of apparel the next Gap, it has to be a new invention. To invent something that you don’t even get credit for it because it’s the norm.”
Fashion and his resemblance to Apple and McDonalds weren’t the only things discussed in the interview, never one to shy away from pressing topics Kanye West gave insight on how it feels to go through life as a black Trump supporter as well.
While most of what he goes through won’t come as much as a surprise, it was intriguing to hear a man like Kanye liken being a black Trump supporter to his early non-famous days where people often looked at him as a common thug.
