It’s been a tough couple of weeks for the XFL.
The Vince McMahon led football league shut down all operations, laying off hundreds of employees in the proceed. They then filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, seemingly confirming that the league is indeed done for the foreseeable future.
Those 2 events came after the league was forced to cancel the rest of their 2020 season due to the spread of COVID-19.
It’s been all bad for those involved in the league, but there could be a light at the end of the tunnel.
According to Forbes, multiple potential buyers have contacted banker Andrew Kline about purchasing the XFL.
